Once you have decided the institution and course, you have to complete the paperwork and the institution will send you “offer of place” letter and later a “confirmed offer of place” after paying the fees. If your chosen course has a duration of more than 12 weeks, you need a student visa. Student visa can be applied either online or using a printed form. To qualify for student visa, you should be accepted by an institute approved by Ministry of Education or New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).

Pathway student visa allows you to study up to 3 consecutive courses, thus on a single visa you can take up to 3 courses for up to 5 years.

IELTS Score Requirement
For undergraduate programs, a score of minimum 5.5 in all 4 bands and overall 6.0 in IELTS.
For graduate programs, a score of minimum 6.0 in all 4 bands and overall 6.5 in IELTS.

You can work up to 20 hours a week during your course time. You may also work full time during your holidays.
Stay Back Option For International Students In New Zealand
